After last weeks announcement that the 360 version has been cancelled. Yet more disappointment for PS3 gamers as the title has been moved to 2011.
If you are a PC gamer however you seem to be favoured by the developers as the title is still looking to be a September release for you lucky lucky people.
Yesterday saw the arrival of the 4 player co-op DLC for BFBC2. Well it was on the PS3 at least.
Late last night an announcement was made on the Twitter website advising 360 gamers that their offering was delayed but would be with them soon.
No definite date.... just soon.
Come on DICE what's the hold-up? Are you concentrating on getting the Medal of Honour beta out for 360 gamers before this latest DLC?
UPDATE - 24/06
360 gamers will see the DLC later today according to a DICE twitter post.
Now you will see the RDOD or Red Dot of Death. However you will also be presented with a message to say that your console is shutting down due to insufficient ventilation and that the console can be switched back on once the power light has stopped flashing.
Whether this will alleviate any problems is yet to be seen, but we suspect that buyers of the new XBOX 360 slim console will have just as much problems as the latest generation of the console.
We wonder if Microsoft will be issuing the cardboard coffins again later next year.
